Biography

I have been married since 1992 to my husband Dave, and we have three children. My children are Haley, who is in her first year at Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy; Ryan, who is attending Auburn University; and Jason, who is attending Southern Union. I grew up on a farm in Iowa and have lived in Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Oregon, Washington, and Alabama.

I love to travel, see new places, and experience new things. I believe it is important to visit other places and learn about them. It is my goal to travel to all 50 states and live in every region of the country. I have been in 47 of the states. I am missing Delaware, North Dakota, and Alaska. I have lived in all of the regions of the United States except the Southwest. In addition to traveling in the United States, I would love to visit France because my family hosted a foreign exchange student from Paris, and we would love to visit her.

My hobbies include traveling, snow skiing, boating, wake boarding, reading, watching football, and playing games. I am a diehard Oregon Ducks fan and a Green Bay Packers fan. I love working with children and having fun, and I am excited to be able to teach the students at Marbury Middle School.
