Introduction

I am a graduate of Marbury High School and I am proud to have returned home to be a part of the tradition of academic excellence we have at Marbury! I teach 8th Grade World History. I am motivated by my love of history and hope that my students will not only develop an appreciation for what happened before them, but also a general thirst for knowledge. I love to see students get excited about the past and I try to make the story of humankind more approachable to today's youth by incorporating hands-on activities and using a multimedia approach to learning in my classroom. I have been blessed with two sons, Jacob and Hayden. I enjoy reading, video games, watching University of Alabama football games, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
